Biography

Richard is an established family law specialist with a focus on children law.

His practice comprises public law children work, acting on behalf of children, local authorities, parents and other family members.

Richard also represents parents and children in complex private law children work with an emphasis on the international movement of children.

Richard accepts direct access work in appropriate cases.

Richard's private law practice primarily involves representing clients in the High Court in international cases including both Hague and non-Hague abduction matters. Richard also advises and acts on behalf of parents and children in complex and intractable Children Act 1989 proceedings.

Public Law

Richard regularly represents parties in cases involving serious allegations of harm and abuse and other complex fact-finding matters.
